Accounts Payable and Reception / Administrative Support

Job Summary:

We are seeking a candidate with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, along with a strong work ethic who is eager to learn new skills and bring new ideas to the table. This position provides administrative support throughout the organization, while working primarily with Accounting and Human Resources. You will be part of a team that values honesty, open communication, creative thinking, and dedication.

    Your primary responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
  • Answer and direct incoming calls; greet and direct onsite visitors.
  • Provide regular support to the accounting department, with emphasis in Accounts Payable.
  • Frequent administrative support for Human Resources and other departments.
  • Monitor and order office supplies, as needed.
  • Event Planning (holiday party, summer movie, other celebrations).
  • Arrange refreshments (coffee, pastries, lunch, etc.) for visitors.
  • Distribute mail daily; open and date stamp invoices.
  • Ensure conference rooms and lunchroom are clean and orderly at the end of each workday; periodic cleaning of coffee pots; monthly deep clean of refrigerator and kitchen.
  • Fill copy machine paper and toner. Basic copy machine troubleshooting; arrange service and repair.
Skills and Qualifications you need for this Position:
  • High School degree or GED. Associate's (or Bachelor's) degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated interest and/or experience in accounting.
  • Proficiency in office skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word, the ability/desire to learn new programs, an eye for efficiency and process improvement.
  • Must be detail oriented and very organized.
  • Consistently reliable attendance and project completion. Strong work ethic.
  • Interact professionally and pleasantly with customers and co-workers, by phone and in person.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Demonstrated initiative, self-motivation and follow-through. Proactive.
  • Able to work independently, but also a solid team player.
  • Able to maintain highest level of confidentiality and communicate discreetly.
  • Must have a drivers' license and clean driving record
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds; will occasionally need to do some lifting and hands-on tasks.

Project Engineer

Responsibilities:

This is an entry-level engineering position. In this role, you will proactively support our engineering and production teams by actively managing and completing project tasks for the design, specification, procurement, assembly, testing, and documentation of Radius Engineering equipment. You will have access to company-wide knowledge and experience in engineering, production, and project management practices, with the goal of developing the necessary skill sets and experience for future advancement within Radius Engineering as a staff engineer.

Engineering Support:
  • Attend and actively contribute to all design and project reviews for assigned project(s) by tracking, documenting, updating, and reporting status of both design action-items and QMS required documentation.
  • Modify existing part and assembly designs, including supporting drawings, with both 2D and 3D modeling software, primarily SolidWorks.
  • Have a keen interest in growing your skills with industrial machine design and detailed CAD modeling, including complex assemblies.
  • Monitor and track progress of project schedules, budgets, and design progress to regularly inform key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with procurement on the release of project BOM's and actively work to resolve any issues which may arise during procurement relative to cost, availability, lead-time, or quality.
  • Incorporate and document changes to equipment designs, for NC's, ECN's, and production red-lines by modifying detailed drawings for machined parts, fabricated components, and assemblies.
  • Support the execution of test plans and/or prototypes to validate / verify machine concepts.
  • Proactively work with all project team members, including both technicians and staff engineers, to effectively incorporate manufacturability and assembly efficiencies into the machine design.
  • Assist in the documentation, disposition, and resolution of NC's and ECN's.
Production Support:
  • Mechanical assembly of Radius-designed equipment, including mechanical, pneumatic, fluid handling, and electrical systems.
  • Electrical assembly of control panels, on-machine wiring, and other electrical components.
  • Hands-on assembly of equipment using hand and electric tools, per 2D exploded view drawings.
  • Document work performed, including assembly procedures and test results in accordance with the QMS.
  • Knowledge Sharing—communicate openly and constructively with co-workers to assist in development of technical skills among technician staff and otherwise contribute to a culture of growth and learning.
  • Regular and predictable attendance required.
  • Ability to maintain and troubleshoot all Radius products.
  • Using Total ETO, perform updates and extract data relative to Bill of Materials, purchase order status, and labor costs to support production and engineering.
Requirements:
  • BSME with 1-3 years relevant experience preferred. Associate's degree with 3-5 years related experience accepted. Exceptional candidates with 8-10 years of related industrial experience, or a recent BSME degree with no experience, are also accepted.
  • Highly skilled in SolidWorks or comparable software with ability to quickly and efficiently learn SolidWorks.
  • Skilled with and enjoys using hand tools and basic power tools.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Demonstrate a high level of safety practice and awareness.
  • Demonstrated excellent attention to detail. Openly discusses uncertainties. Seeks assistance.
  • Excellent communication skills balanced with the ability to work independently.
  • Well-honed organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Mechanical Technician

Job Summary

Assemble, modify, test, troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair manufacturing machinery, process instrumentation, and control systems. This includes mechanical, pneumatic, fluid handling, and electrical systems. Prepare equipment for shipment. Position is full time with benefits.

Requirements
  • Previous experience as a skilled mechanical technician/auto mechanic/avid mechanic.
  • Ability and propensity to follow assembly instructions.
  • Skilled with hand and power tools.
  • Tool fabrication and CAD experience desirable.
  • Able to lift/manipulate 40+ pounds several times a week, stand for several hours, walk, reach, and climb around and on top of equipment.
  • High level of safety practice and awareness.
  • Basic computer fluency in Microsoft Office Suite and file management.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized, systematic, and able to keep an orderly/uncluttered assembly area.
  • Demonstrate a good attitude, good team/interpersonal skills, and a desire for ongoing learning.
  • Able to think and work independently, demonstrate attention to details, be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
  • C&C machining experience a plus.
  • Experience using dimensional measuring equipment desired.
  • US Citizenship or Green Card required.
  • Experience with wiring, machine controls, and electrical schematics preferred.
  • High school or GED required. Some college preferred.
